So with all that in mind Pamela Geller, the shrill bitch lunatic behind the absolutely insane blog Atlas Shrugs, demands to know why a critic of Islam who just can’t help himself when it comes to joining and supporting neo-fascist movements named Robert Spencer and some nonsense the fat lunatic fascist is involved in isn’t national news on the front page.
Here’s your answer you insane clod: BECAUSE NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT ROBERT SPENCER. His blog is read by few people. His books are read by even fewer. Yes, when neo-Nazi groups like Vlaams Belang want an American critic of Islam, they go to Robert Spencer. When a meeting of fascists like Pro-Koeln need someone who doesn’t look like the ubermensch to make wildly inappropriate and racist comments about Arabs, they go to Robert Spencer. When the media wants a legitimate critic of Islam and Islamic terrorism, they’re not going to someone with a record of being a bigoted shithead, they’ll go to Christopher Hitchens, Irshad Manji, Salman Rushdie, etc. There are plenty of scholars on religion whose views aren’t contaminated by feelings that Christians should slaughter the Muslims living in Turkey, as Robert Spencer clearly believes (if he didn’t, why did he join the Facebook group, hmmm?).
